This page explains how a Creator can stop Ostrya from accessing a connected Meta ad account or Google Ads account, and how to have Ostrya delete the data it has imported from those accounts. It is operated by Abscissa AI LLP ("Ostrya"). What Ostrya reads, why, and how long it keeps it are set out in section 12A, "Connected ad-platform integrations", of our Privacy Policy. The contractual terms for these integrations are in section 4.1A of our Terms of Service. For a connected Zoom account, see section 5A below.
1. What Ostrya holds when you connect an ad account
If you connected a Meta ad account (Facebook and Instagram ads) or a Google Ads account to Ostrya, Ostrya holds:
- Access credentials — the access token (and, for Google, the refresh token) that Meta or Google issued to Ostrya when you granted access, stored encrypted.
- A record of the connection — which platform, the identifier Meta or Google assigned to the account or system user that granted access, which Ostrya user connected it, the permissions granted, and when.
- Linked ad accounts — each ad account's identifier, name, currency and reporting time zone.
- Campaign structure — the identifiers, names, status and objective of your campaigns, ad sets or ad groups, and ads.
- Daily performance figures — spend, impressions, clicks, link clicks, landing-page views, reach, video views, conversions and conversion value, per campaign, ad set or ad group, and ad, per day.
Ostrya does not receive information identifying the people who saw or clicked your ads. It also does not hold your Meta or Google password.
2. Step 1: disconnect in Ostrya
- Sign in to Ostrya and open Settings → Integrations.
- Find the Meta ads card or the Google Ads card.
- Click Disconnect and confirm.
When you disconnect, Ostrya immediately stops reading from that platform and asks Meta or Google to revoke Ostrya's access. It then permanently deletes the stored access and refresh tokens. The token deletion happens even if the platform does not respond to the revoke request. Ostrya keeps a record that the connection existed, as an audit record.
By default, disconnecting does not delete reports that Ostrya has already imported. They stay in your workspace so that your historical reports keep working.
For Meta, you can delete them at the same time: in the Disconnect confirmation, tick Also delete imported ad data. Ostrya then permanently deletes the linked ad-account records, campaign structure and daily performance figures it imported through that Meta connection, together with the tokens. This cannot be undone. For Google Ads, or to delete data you kept when you disconnected earlier, follow Step 4.
To stop refreshing one ad account while keeping the others connected, use Unlink next to that account instead. Unlinking stops refreshing that account but deletes nothing, and you can link it again later.
3. Step 2: remove Ostrya's access at Meta
Disconnecting in Ostrya already asks Meta to revoke access. You can also remove it yourself at Meta, or confirm that it is gone:
- If you connected through your personal Facebook profile, go to Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Ostrya Ads, and click Remove.
- If your ad account belongs to a Meta business portfolio, a business admin can go to Meta Business Suite → Settings → Integrations → Connected apps, select Ostrya Ads, and remove it.
When Meta notifies Ostrya that access has been removed, Ostrya permanently deletes the stored tokens for that Meta account. If you ask Meta to send Ostrya a request to delete your data, Ostrya deletes the stored tokens for that Meta account, together with the linked ad-account records, campaign structure and daily performance figures imported through it, and returns a confirmation code. Removing access alone, without a deletion request, keeps imported reports as described in Step 1.
4. Step 3: remove Ostrya's access at Google
Disconnecting in Ostrya already asks Google to revoke access. You can also remove it yourself at Google, or confirm that it is gone:
- Go to your Google Account's Third-party apps and services page (myaccount.google.com/connections), signed in as the Google account you used to connect Google Ads.
- Select Ostrya and choose to delete all connections with it.
Google does not notify Ostrya when you do this. The next time Ostrya tries to refresh your reports, Google refuses the request, Ostrya stops refreshing, and your Google Ads card shows that the connection needs to be reconnected. The stored tokens then no longer work, but they remain in encrypted form until you click Disconnect in Ostrya (Step 1) or ask us to delete them (Step 4). For that reason we recommend disconnecting in Ostrya as well.
5. Step 4: ask Ostrya to delete everything
To have Ostrya delete all the data it holds from a connected ad platform, including imported reports, campaign names, linked ad-account records and the connection record, email raghav@ostryaai.com from the email address on your Ostrya account, with the subject line "Ad data deletion request". Please include:
- the name or web address of your Ostrya workspace;
- which platform (Meta, Google Ads or both); and
- if you want only some ad accounts deleted, their ad account IDs. Otherwise we will delete the data for every ad account from that platform.
We may ask you to confirm your identity or your authority over the workspace before acting, so that nobody else can delete your data. We will acknowledge your request within 24 to 48 hours. We will complete the deletion within the timelines prescribed under applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and confirm to you by email when it is done. If we are required by law to keep anything, we will tell you what we kept and why.
After deletion, your Ostrya reports will no longer show that platform's spend or results for the deleted period. If you reconnect later, Ostrya will import up to the previous 90 days again.
5A. Zoom integration
If you connected a Zoom account to Ostrya, what Ostrya reads from Zoom, what it stores and how long it keeps it are set out in section 12B, "Zoom integration", of our Privacy Policy. To stop Ostrya's access and have your Zoom data deleted:
- Disconnect in Ostrya. Open Settings → Integrations, find the Zoom card, click Disconnect and confirm. Ostrya immediately and permanently deletes the stored Zoom tokens and the connection record (your Zoom account and user identifiers, email address, licence details and granted permissions). It then asks Zoom to remove Ostrya's access, which normally removes Ostrya from your Zoom account's Added Apps. Disconnecting does not delete meeting links, registrations, attendance, chat messages, stored Zoom notifications or other data Ostrya has already collected. To have those deleted, use item 3 below.
- Or remove the app in Zoom while it is still connected. If you have not disconnected in Ostrya, you can instead sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, click Manage, then Added Apps, find Ostrya and click Remove. Zoom notifies Ostrya, and Ostrya deletes the tokens and connection record. Unless Zoom tells Ostrya that you allowed it to keep your data, Ostrya also deletes the chat messages, time-in-meeting records, records of participants it could not match to a booking, and stored Zoom notifications it holds for your workspace. Attendance marks on your bookings, meeting and personal join links, and leads are kept. This deletion happens only while your Zoom account is still connected to Ostrya. If you have already disconnected in Ostrya and Ostrya still appears in your Added Apps, you can remove it there, but that does not delete anything Ostrya holds. Use item 3 below instead.
- Ask Ostrya to delete everything. Email raghav@ostryaai.com from the email address on your Ostrya account, with the subject line "Zoom data deletion request" and the name or web address of your Ostrya workspace. We will verify, acknowledge and complete the request as described in Step 4 above.
If you booked or registered for a Creator's session that ran on Zoom, you can ask us to delete Zoom data about you, such as your chat messages or attendance records, by emailing the same address. Because we hold that data on the Creator's behalf, we may refer your request to the Creator, as described in section 15 of our Privacy Policy.
6. Deleting your whole Ostrya account
If you want to close your Ostrya account entirely, email raghav@ostryaai.com. Say in the same email whether you also want your ad-account data or Zoom data deleted, and we will handle both together as described in Step 4. How we handle the rest of your account data on closure is described in section 7, "Your choices", and section 14, "Retention", of our Privacy Policy.
7. Contact and grievances
Questions about this page or about a deletion request can be sent to our Grievance Officer: Raghav Mandhana, Abscissa AI LLP, J-130, Third Floor, Kirti Nagar, New Delhi-110015. Email: raghav@ostryaai.com. The rights available to you and the grievance process are described in sections 15 and 17 of our Privacy Policy. Nothing on this page limits any right you have under applicable law, including your right to approach the Data Protection Board of India.
